Starbucks - 6208 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA

Starbucks - 196th & Hwy 99

A nice, cool, iced coffee on a hot day was what we were looking for, on our way to play a board game. This coffee shop was on the way and we couldn't wait any longer. more info

Hottest Day in April Evar!!! OMG So Hot!

This location had a lot of outdoor seating available. Definitely a nice hang-out spot. A drive-thru option is also available.

Hanging out by the open refrigerator; drinking a tasty frappuccino (Joel) and an iced Peppermint latte (Charles). :)
This is the only coffee shop we have seen that has an open refrigerator, which was in the wall and not a part of the pastry case. We were cooling off with our drinks and the refrigerator at our backs. Not feeling the heat one bit.

Off to Play Galaxy Defenders!

Irish People Blind Taste Test Coffee

We have always found taste tests to be informative and funny. People from different cultures add a different twist and more insight of a subject.
Today, we have "Irish People Blind Taste Test Coffee"

Starbucks - 18336 Midvale Ave N

We are on our way to play Galaxy Defenders at Around The Table. We drove North on Highway 99 and our goal was to find a Starbucks on the right side of the highway. We started at 105th and 99, which is a long way to go without a "right side" Starbucks. Charles suspects most people are driving South in the morning for work, so most of the Starbucks and other coffee serving businesses are on the left-side of Highway 99.

This Starbucks is medium-sized and could handle a lot of through-traffic. It has outdoor seating and multiple types of  seating inside. It is near medical offices, restaurants, exercise studios, and would be a great place to sit outside with your pet, during the Summer. more info

Joel says "Look at how that Barista can handle... coffee."

Ahhh, so cute!

This Starbucks has its own Instagram @185thsbux

Boxy metal shell outside and metal beams inside, with big windows.

Joel received Galaxy Defenders from the Board Game Geek Secret Santa, so we are playing through the scenarios.

Starbucks - 1318 4th Ave

This cafe is in the heart of Downtown Seattle; at Fourth & Union. It is very busy; from morning, until early afternoon. A lot of seating inside and outside. Great for an impromptu meeting. more info
The building is probably going to get demoed in the next year to make way for a huge new building on the site.

Looks like this is where the city dumps it's green bike trash. These Pronto bikes are not very useful, we never see anyone using them. With Seattle weather, these bike would only be usable three months out of the year.

We both ordered the featured Caramelized Honey Latte. Joel still prefers the Venti no-foam Latte. Charles is going to stay with the drip coffee next time.

We spend most of the time trying to post to a Wordpress blog site; no luck and was very frustrating. We couldn't get pictures to embed properly, so we decided to switch to Blogger.

Starbucks - 2137 N Northgate Way

We are heading into our first location on our journey. Gift card in hand from Joel's Mom.
Thanks Mom!
This is our usual place to come have coffee and play a quick game. Charles ordered a Grande Pike Drip Coffee and Joel ordered a latte. The service at this cafe is very fast. The drip coffee was served in less than 30 seconds and the latte was served in less than 3 minutes. Whenever we order here, the service is always consistent. more info

24-hr Drive thru! The best ever!
People are jealous of the 24-hour drive thru near our homes. Also, while other Starbucks are Closed, this Starbucks is always open on holidays.

Testing which phone is the best at selfies! Charles' is better; Joel's pictures were all blurry. Charles' phone is a Nokia Lumia 1520.

Kissing the girls!  This is a mural on the back wall of the cafe.
This cafe has 5 tables available and have recently added more chairs.

We played one game of Star Realms before we had to go.
